The Sexton Company is very proud of our newest collaboration with Qualcomm and with the X Prize. The Sexton Company, working closely with Charity Brands, brought the parties together to create the Tricorder X Prize. The parties will award $10 million to the group that develops the first portable, wireless, minimally invasive, rapid, low-cost diagnostic tool able to diagnose patients better than, or equal to, a panel of board-certified physicians. Named by Qualcomm Chairman & CEO Paul Jacobs, the innovation will be the world’s first wireless medical diagnostic device that functions like the iconic Star Trek tricorder.
