
The University of Southern California’s Center for Body Computing is a leader in the new world of connected healthcare. The Center for Body Computing is at the leading edge of synthesizing medicine, engineering, technology, business, communications, and entertainment to create a new paradigm which will have important consequences for the delivery of healthcare. Business technology giants like Google, Microsoft, Qualcomm and others are democratizing the medical information stream and creating a generation of patients and clinicians who are looking at health and medical care in a completely different way. Meanwhile, a slew of networked implanted devices, wearable monitors, and a digestible chip are poised to enter the marketplace. The Sexton Company is a founding corporate member and close collaborator of USC’s Center for Body Computing in advancing this important convergence for good.
