Natural Resources Defense Council
In 2008 and 2009 Sexton was asked by the Natural Resources Defense Council to review and evaluate its Sports and Entertainment Greening Initiative. Working closely with senior staff, a qualitative evaluation of all aspects of the NRDC’s ‘greening’ programs was completed, laying the groundwork for a strategic planning process now underway to lay out the future of this important corporate greening initiative. As the two prominent organizations in this field, Sexton and NRDC collaborate when possible on how to advance environmentally friendly programs in what are otherwise often wasteful industries.
