One of The Sexton Company's principals, Brendan Sexton, was Commisioner of Sanitation of NYC for several years, and is proud to have introduced and brought to successful fruition the first ever recycling program for a high-rise, dense urban setting. The program has been an enormous success, drawing the participation of 8 million New York City residents, and diverting many millions of tons of waste from landfills.
